Eyelight is created by Ron Repke as an outlet for original photography.
1987
Deborah Crow and 3 other associates join Ron at 560 Queen Street.
1988
Eyelight incorporates and hires employees
1989
Ron & Debbie decide to make a personal commitment and get married.
1990
The first version of Adobe Photoshop is released.
1991
Eyelight purchases 382 Breithaupt Street and continues to grow.
1992
Eyelight wins 3 'Icon' Golds and Advertiser of the Year.
1993
The World Wide Web was born at CERN.
1994
Adobe takes over Aldus and aquires PageMaker, the first desktop publishing program.
1995
'Icon' Advertiser of the Year winner for the Piller's 'Sounds of Summer' TV commercial.
1996
Eyelight celebrates its 10th Anniversary.
1997
After 5 years in production, Ron writes, directs and products 'Dianne', a movie of the week that is nominated for best picture at the Yorkton Film Festival.
1998
Apple Computers unveils the iMac.
1999
Preparation for Y2K became a major even, (even if nothing really happened).
2000
Eyelight purchases its present location at 38 Bridgeport Road East, in Uptown Waterloo.
2001
Eyelight expands and offers web and internet design solutions.
2002
'Icon' Advertiser of the Year winner for the MTD Products website and Piller's deli spots.
2003
'Thomas and the Alphabet', a children's book illustrated by Debbie, is released.
2004
Eyelight coordinates with the Perimeter Institute on their International Gala opening.
2005
Live 8, a series of concerts organized to help the poorest nations of the world was held simultaneously in the G8 countries.
2006
Eyelight celebrates 20 years in business.
2007
Proudly designed and published 'The Past Rebuilt', a tribute to the Huber family's 50th Anniversary of Piller's Sausages & Delicatessen.
2009
Received Readers Choice 'Gold Award' - Nominated for Best Small Business by Junior Achievement.
2010
Nominated for 'Business of the Year under 20 employees' by the K-W Chamber of Commerce.
