Background
MTD is the largest manufacturer of outdoor power equipment in Canada. MTD's five brands of products are available at major retailers across the country.
Problem
MTD wanted to use the Internet to help educate consumers about products, build brand awareness, and provide after sales service and support.
Solution
The MTD web site has evolved enormously since it's creation 6 years ago. It offers consumers a wealth of product information, access to manuals, ability to register their products on-line and purchase the top selling parts. As well, Eyelight partners with MTD on an ongoing basis customizing the site to achieve many internal capabilities that aid in streamlining processes for them as well as their customers. From content management systems allowing immediate updates, to a comprehensive image/information library to the development of a Dealer Incentive Program, Eyelight strives to understand the business issues MTD faces and develop solutions that work.
